Venue booking

Your event CRM bill vs Cenvi.

Same events, same paperwork. What changes is how long you are signed up for, what the card costs you, and what happens to an inquiry after hours.

What is being comparedA month-to-month operating system against an annual event CRM.Cenvi runs the booking workflow, answers the calls and texts you are already getting, and leaves your card rate alone. Tripleseat runs leads, proposals and BEOs for venues and restaurants on a yearly contract quoted to each venue.
Why it existsThe inquiry you did not answer is the event you did not book.Tripleseat is built around a sales team working leads at a desk. The calls that decide your quarter arrive during an event, on a Saturday, and after six.
Why Cenvi winsNo annual contract, no processing markup, and a phone that is always answered. If you run a large sales team across many venues and want the deepest BEO and reporting workflow in the category, Tripleseat is a serious tool and we will say so.
You are paying this bill if
  • You signed a year and the inquiries still go to voicemail
  • Your software quotes a price per venue and an onboarding fee on top
  • The card rate is set in your contract, not by Stripe

How each platform charges, and what each subscription actually delivers.

Pricing model, side by side

Both platforms give you a booking calendar, proposals, contracts and payments. Three things separate the bills: how long you are signed up for, what each one charges you to take a card, and what happens to an inquiry when nobody is at the desk.

Price, compared

Tripleseat quotes each venue privately on an annual contract. Cenvi publishes three prices, all month to month, with Stripe rate on your own account. Cenvi rows highlighted.

TierMonthlyWhat it runs
TripleseatQuotedLeads, proposals, BEOs, contracts, e-signing, payments and reporting, on an annual contract quoted per venue with onboarding
Cenvi Venue StarterLowest price$49/moBooking calendar, proposals, contracts, deposits and milestone payments, Stripe rate on your own account
Cenvi Venue ProMost venues$99/moEverything in Venue Starter, plus unlimited spaces and invoices, crew operations, client email from your own domain and full reports
Cenvi Venue ConciergeFull system$179/moEverything in Venue Pro, plus the 24/7 Front Desk phone and text line that quotes and books, and every location on one dashboard

Tripleseat does not publish pricing. It sells annual contracts quoted to each venue, typically with an onboarding fee, and processes cards through its own payments product at a rate set in the contract. Ask them for a written quote and the processing rate before you compare. Cenvi runs on your own Stripe account at Stripe’s published rate, which Cenvi does not mark up, and every plan is month to month with no setup fee. Both companies change pricing; check before you decide.

What is actually different, feature by feature

What each platform is actually for

Honest read. Both exist for a reason, because they were built for different jobs.

Best for Tripleseat

Hotel and restaurant groups with a dedicated sales team working leads at a desk, who want the deepest BEO and pipeline reporting in the category and are fine signing a year.

Best for Cenvi

Independent venues, halls and facilities that lose events to a phone nobody answered. The full booking workflow, plus a line that picks up at any hour and books the open date. Your own Stripe account, month to month.

Cenvi runs the same workflow on your own Stripe account without a yearly contract. The difference is the call at 7pm while you are running an event, and the year you signed to not answer it.

Set up your venue on Cenvi in minutes.

Create your account and get your booking calendar, proposals and payments live. No card required to look around. If you would rather see your numbers first, book fifteen minutes with us.
